The NQO COST Action’s Working Group 1 and the WASPS FP7 consortium are organising a workshop open to all on Single Photons and Single Spins, to be held at St-Catherine’s college in Oxford, UK, from September 12th to 13th 2016. The overarching goal of the workshop is the foster and nurture connections between academic and industrial european actors involved in Nanoscale Quantum Optics.
The SPSS meeting will be followed by the NQO COST Action WG1 meeting on the 14th.

An industry session will be held on the 13th with the following speakers :
A round-table discussion focused on the opportunities arising from the recently announced EC Flagship on Quantum Technologies will take place on the Tuesday afternoon. Panellists will include Prof. Tommaso Calarco (Ulm University, Leader of the Qute Coordinated Action, to be confirmed) and Prof. Andrea Ferrari (Cambridge University, Director of the Cambridge Graphene Centre, to be confirmed).
Please submit your one-page abstract to spss[at]fp7wasps.org and indicate which kind of presentation you are seeking (oral, poster or any). The submission deadline is May 27th, 2016.
